To add a User or Admin to Allocate
There are two user groups in Allocate:
- EA-Allocate Admins: No unique functionality yet
- EA-Alocate Users: Provides classifiers access to the app
To add a User or Admin to Allocate
To add a user or admin to Allocate you will need to make a request via the IT Portal/Service Desk:
- Navigate to the Add a user to an active directory group
- Add either EA-Allocate Users or EA-Allocate Admins depending on what access the new user requires in the ‘Group Name’ field
- Add the person you wish to add by name in the ‘Person to Add’ field
- Ensure you have authorisation to action the request, and then check the ‘Tick to confirm you have the authorisation to request the above’ field
- Click ‘Submit’
Once Service Desk have actioned the request you will receive an update from them stating that the request have been processed.
To remove a user or admin to Allocate
To remove a user or admin to Allocate you will need to make a request via the IT Portal/Service Desk:
- Navigate to the Remove a user from an active directory group
- Add either EA-Allocate Users or EA-AllocateAdmins depending on what access the current user has in the ‘Group Name’ field
- Add the person you wish to remove by name in the ‘Person to Add’ field
- Ensure you have authorisation to action the request, and then check the ‘Tick to confirm you have the authorisation to request the above’ field
- Click ‘Submit’
Once Service Desk have actioned the request you will receive an update from them stating that the request have been processed.
